Atari announces Star Trek Online Open Beta begins

Atari has announced the open beta for Star Trek Online has begun today. Throughout January 26, 2010, you’ll be able to get a sneak gameplay peek at Star Trek Online for the PC. This is a two week preview of the game ahead of the release in early February 2010. To access the beta, you will need to get a beta key. There are a few different ways to obtain a beta key, which you can see here on www.startrekonline.com/openbeta. The easiest way is through a pre-order of Star Trek Online or the Star Trek Online Collector’s Edition.

Star Trek Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), developed by Cryptic Studios, who also developed games like City of Heroes and Champions Online. More information on Star Trek Online can be found at www.startrekonline.com.
