Capcom just announced that Bear McCreary, composer of such shows as Battlestar Galactica and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles has been signed on to score their upcoming game, Dark Void. According to McCreary:

“When I got the call from Capcom to work on the music for Dark Void, I
jumped at the chance to do it, considering my love for Capcom games. I have been looking for the opportunity to compose a
game score for a long time, but I’ve been waiting for the right one.
Dark Void’s epic story and unique gameplay drew me in immediately and
I have had a lot of fun working on the project.”

Dark Void is Capcom’s upcoming third-person action shooter, and is set for release on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Windows PC’s this year. Though there isn’t much info about the game yet, make sure to check back at the official site here. Also, for samples of Mccreary’s work on the game check out some examples at a Capcom Blog.
