Street Fighter IV isn’t even out yet and already there are tournaments set up. In fact, Gamestop will be holding a kickoff party for a national tournament at their Universal studios Boulevard location in California. Here are the details straight from Capcom:

The event features a costume contest, martial arts demo, and a 64-player exclusive one-night Street Fighter IV tournament. The tournament’s ultimate street fighter wins a trip for two to the Street Fighter IV national tournament finals party being held on April 18 in San Francisco.

Seth Killian, member of the first U.S. National Street Fighter Team and Special Advisor to Street Fighter IV, will be on the scene to help introduce the new title. Also joining the excitement will be the original ultimate fighter, Forrest Griffin, who is known for his “sprawl and brawl” style of fighting.
