– Activision’s Guitar Hero 5 looks like it will do away with the in-game friend codes. According to 4colorrebllion.com, when players first start up Guitar Hero 5 for the Wii, the game will ask you to import your address book from the Wii and utilize all of the existing Wii friend codes instead of using the separate games friend code. Will more developers use this method to connect online?

– Waiting to get in the seat of the new racing game, DiRT 2? According to Eurogamer, a demo of the game will hit Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Network tomorrow, August 20th. You can expect the full game to be released on September 11, 2009.

[Guitar Hero 5 DLC]
– Activision has said that five tracks from live performances of The Rolling Stones will be available on September 3rd. All of the tracks will be available for $2 on Playstation Network, 160 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE, or 200 Wii Points.
