Good Old Games, giver/seller of DRM-free retro PC games, have let us know that they are giving away free games for the holidays. From today through December 24th, you can go to GOG.com and download Tex Murphy Mean Streets (Episode 1) and Martian Memorandum (Episode 2). If you aren’t a member of the site, just sign up and get your free game on. Also, if you are unaware, you can pick up some other games that have been free for a while.
“We wanted to do something special for our users, just like we did last year when we added Beneath a Steel Sky and Lure of the Temptress as two free games in the catalogue. This time, thanks to Aaron Conners and WordPlay, we’re able to give all GOG users the first two parts of the great Tex Murphy series,” said Adam Oldakowski, Managing Director at GOG.com. “Wishing everyone ‘Happy Holidays!’”
