Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock

Summer is nearly over and Guitar Hero is offering a whole slew of new song releases before school starts again. Those looking to build their song library will be happy to know that all songs will be compatible with Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock in addition to Guitar Hero 5 and Band Hero. Releases for the month of August include tracks from The Used, Sum 41, Weezer, Megadeth, and P.O.D.

Here’s a list of the songs being offered:
The Used- “Taste of Ink”, “The Bird and the Worm”, “Pretty Handsome Awkward”
Sum 41- “Fat Lip”, “In Too Deep”, “Still Waiting”
Weezer- “Beverly Hills”, “Pork and Beans”, “Island in the Sun”
Megadeth- “Symphony of Destruction”, “Hangar 18”, “Peace Sells”
P.O.D.- “Southtown”, “Youth of the Nation”, “Boom”

Songs will be available in packs and as single releases. On the Xbox LIVE Marketplace, song packs will cost 440 points ($5.50) and individual songs will be available for 160 points ($2). On the PlayStation Network, song packs will sell for $5.49 and individual songs will sell for $1.99. All songs will be available on the Wii as well for 550 Wii Points ($5.50) as song packs or 200 Wii Points ($2) for individual songs.
