Activision Blizzard has officially announced that the seperate Guitar Hero peripherals (Drum Kit, and Wireless Guitars) will be available on February 15th at retailers across North America. With Guitar Hero: Metallica coming around March 29th, you can finally purchase the one instrument you may be missing if you bought the game separate or just the Guitar bundle.

The Guitar Hero: World Tour drums and guitar are compatable with all current and future games. If you are using a Rock Band Drum Set as a Guitar Hero Drum set, maybe its time to purchase this drum set, as it is compatible for double bass pedals which would be useful for Guitar Hero: Metallica. The guitar also features a new touch bar to help with fast solos in the game, although it takes a while to get used to.

The Drum Kit and the Guitar stand-alone controllers will be available in North American retailers starting Sunday, February 15th.
