Think you’re good at Plants vs. Zombies and ready to take on some other players? There has been quite a few releases of PopCap Games’ Plants vs. Zombies (even the recent iPad release), but now an all new online competitive version has been released on WorldWinner.com. The skill based version of Plants vs. Zombies is free to play and you can compete against others with your high scores.

You start on a tutorial level which shows you some of the basic gameplay mechanics of Plants vs. Zombies (also a great way to learn about the game if you’ve never played it). You can then start a competitive game where you have a limited selection of Plants to fight off a rapidly increasing difficulty of Zombie waves. The game plays at a much quicker pace than the other full versions, since they are timed for competition. At the end of your play, you’ll see the results. You can even post your results and compete against friends on Facebook.

To participate, you need Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7, Internet Explorer 6+ or Firefox 3.5+, and Flash 7.0+ and will need to install a plug-in on the browser from worldwinner.com.

Check out all the details here on worldwinner.com. Good luck and get in the competition now!
