FPS gamers, gear up for this week. Your time with Call of Duty 4 will be compromised. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow SIx Vegas 2 debuts on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Take a look at the videos we’ve put out on our YouTube channel of R6V2, and you’ll see lots of people are hyped for this game. The conclusion to the “Vegas” series brings many new multiplayer options. How will it stack against Halo 3 or Call of Duty 4? We’ll see in the weeks ahead, as R6V2 is looking to be a worthy competitor for your online time.
Last week it was the cast of Nintendo characters in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, this week it’s the cast of SEGA characters in SEGA Superstars Tennis. It’ll probably face the toughest competition with SSBB on the Wii, since it was only released last week and Wii gamers are just starting to scratch the surface. The good thing is that SEGA Superstars Tennis will be available on all the major gaming platforms besides the Wii, so on one hand it can capitalize on that. Note that it was done by Sumo Digital, the same developers behind the addictive Virtua Tennis 3.
Jumping to a few other release notes, Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds is finally released for the Playstation 3, along with last week’s delayed Condemned 2 from SEGA. Take note of one particular Playstation 2 release: Metal Gear Solid: The Essential Collection. You have one last chance, and maybe just enough time, to catch up on the Metal Gear Solid Saga before Metal Gear Solid 4 is released this June on the Playstation 3!
