A new game from Freeverse taps into augmented reality. Fairy Trails is a game where you use your iPhone or iPod touch camera to find virtual fairies, fireflies and butterflies. You’ll have to use your surroundings to track them down and click them to capture them and put them in your collection. The various models of the iPhone and iPod touch offer different capabilities, with the 3GS offering both full augmented reality support and compass controls.

Here are the features of Fairy Trails available on various iPhone and iPod touch models:
– iPhone 3GS – Full AR and range of motion using compass-based movement.
– iPhone, iPhone 3G and all iPod touch models with 3.1 – Full accelerometer-based vertical movement.
- All iPhone models running iPhone OS 3.1 – Full camera support

Fairy Trails is now available from the App Store for $1.99 for the iPhone and iPod touch. Visit the official website at freeverse.com/fairytrails.
