Konami has finally launched some anticipated titles for the iPhone and the iPod Touch. The games that have been released on the App Store today are Silent Hill: The Escape and DanceDanceRevolution S Lite.
"Konami Mobile is pleased to deliver some of our most beloved franchises to the iPhone while providing a range of gameplay depth that casual and hardcore gamers alike are sure to appreciate," said Anthony Borquez, Vice President of Konami Mobile and Online. "Whether players are looking for a nail-biting survival horror experience or some music and rhythm, our lineup of iPhone titles promises to appeal to all consumers."
Silent Hill: The Escape is Konami’s shot at an FPS for the Apple devices. Players must find a key that will get them out of a monster-infested maze using only a gun and a dull flashlight that loses power as you play, making it much harder and challenging to navigate. The game uses full support of the tilt sensor and the touch screen from the iPhone and the iPod Touch.
DanceDanceRevolution S Lite will be the competition for Tapulous and their popular rhythm game on the App Store, Tap Tap Revenge. Based on the popular game, DanceDanceRevolution S Lite provides gamers with that dancing game we’ve been waiting for. Use your fingers and see if you can achieve top score. This is really a demo version of the full game, expected to be released later next month. Only one song is included.
Silent Hill: The escape is available on the App Store for $7.99 and DanceDanceRevolution S Lite is available for free. Try them both. Make sure to give your feedback!
