With Metroid Other M coming out next year, you’ll want to catch up on the story of the Metroid Prime saga. Nintendo will be prepping you with a nice compilation of the Metroid Prime Trilogy for the Wii. The official website of Metroid Prime Trilogy (here) was updated with more details on the collector’s edition of the game, along with some nice bonus goods you can get with a pre-order from Amazon.com (here) and GameStop.com (here). Make sure you check out the Nintendo Channel on your Wii system for a Metroid Prime Trilogy video featured on there.

Metroid Prime Trilogy includes Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (both previously released on the GameCube) and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (Wii) on one disc. The Metroid Prime GameCube games have been updated with new Wii gameplay controls and widescreen support. Metroid Prime Trilogy will be available on August 24th for $49.99.
