Wii Rock Band Drum Kit Built Better Than Original Xbox 360 and PS3 Drum Kit

Wii gamers looking to pick up the Wii Rock Band Special Edition Bundle
will benefit from Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3 gamers’ experience on the hardware. IGN took some comparison pictures (see here) of the Wii Rock Band Drum Kit vs. the originally released Xbox 360 Drum Kit. Besides the obvious color difference, the Wii Drum Kit has a “newly strengthened kick pedal and the somewhat softer drum pads,” according to IGN. The kick pedal also features a thicker spring. Newer Xbox 360 and PS3 Rock Band bundles should include the remodeled Drum Kit hardware. Harmonix/EA will replace the original Xbox 360/PS3 Drum Kit only if it breaks.
Rock Band will be released for the Wii on June 22, 2008 (North America).
