There’s another mod available for download for Unreal Tournament III for the Playstation 3. This mod isn’t a map (like several of the ones released before), but a “Mutator.” It changes the perspective from first-person (seeing gun on screen) to third-person (Gears of War perspective). See the video below for a sampling of the Action Cam Mutator mod running on PS3′s Unreal Tournament III.
How to get and install the mod:
- Download the mod/mutator from here.
- Unzip it and place the main folder (called “PS3″) on a USB Memory Stick.
- Load Unreal Tournament 3 on PS3
- Select “Community”
- Select “My Content”
- Press the [SQUARE] button to “Import Mod”
To use the Action Cam mod:
- Launch Unreal Tournament 3.
- Select “Instant Action”.
- Choose any map and gametype.
- Select “Mutators”.
- Select “Action Cam” and add to active mutator list.
- Start game.
