Sony Pictures Blu-Ray Movies To Include Transferrable Portable Media

Blu-ray movies from Sony Pictures Entertainment may include media that can be transferred/downloaded to other devices. Sony’s David Bishop announced that the transferrable feature may come this year.

It would be cool if we could get a portable version of a Blu-ray movie to play on a PSP (as PSP Fanboy optimistically pointed out), but it could also be likely that all we get is background images for our PSPs and PS3s or trailers for other movies. One of the few (or only) PSP UMD movies that had a feature similar to this was the Stealth UMD, which included a limited version of Wipeout Pure with a Stealth branded ship. It seemed more like a move to support a lackluster flick.
