Many of us have been eager to get a peek and firsthand experience of Home. The online avatar/community for the PLAYSTATION 3 has seen it’s share of delays, but Sony is ready to let a few more PS3 gamers in its closed beta. In today’s (8/7/08) PlayStation Store update, there’s a PlayStation Home PS3 Theme you can download for free. Download it and you’ll be submitted for a chance to be part of the next wave of Home closed beta participants.
The PlayStation Blog notes: “We will be using a variety of criteria including activity on the PLAYSTATION Network to determine eligibility for the Beta community.” Guess that means those who are online regularly have better chances of getting in. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe is just going straight for the most active users as well. Good luck!
