Just this week, Sony Computer Entertainment America released the PSP Digital Comics reader. It’s a free application you can download from the PSP’s PlayStation Store. The first digital comics have just been released, and best of all they are free! You can download the three comics listed below using a redemption code, valid only until December 16, 2009.

Astro Boy: Movie Adaptation #1

Redeem using code: FF3N-H7B6-M2JF

Star Trek: Year Four – The Enterprise Experiment

Redeem using code: 724K-A4BG-JLD7

Transformers: All Hail Megatron #1

Redeem using code: EC2N-9HBR-HJD6

To download any of those Digital Comics, go to the PlayStation Network icon on your PSP menu (XMB) and select [PlayStation Store]. Look for the for “Redeem Codes” icon on the top right of the PlayStation Store (second small icon after the “Search”) and enter the code. These codes are for the North America region. If they are not working for you, try these here, listed on the PlayStation Blog Europe.

These comics are from IDW Publishing, who were also responsible for the Metal Gear Solid: Digital Graphic Novel, which is now pretty rare and valuable.
