Manhunt 2 Uncensored Content Hacked on PSP

Reports from various sources are saying that the PSP version of Manhunt 2 has been hacked, unlocking uncensored content in Rockstar’s game. The hack removes a black and white filter used to tone down the full color blood scenes (think how Quentin toned down Kill Bill’s club brawl scene using black and white instead of the full color blood scene shown in the Japanese release of the flick). The hack requires modifying the code and an older firmware/homebrew PSP. The ESRB responded that they are looking into the unlocked content. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion received an increased rating from Teen (T) to Mature (M) after a nude mod hack on the PC version surfaced. Could this mean a re-rating of Manhunt 2 for the PSP to A/O again or fines for Rockstar? We’ll post updates here as they come.

Manhunt 2 is currently available for the Wii, PSP and Playstation 2 and is rated M for Mature.
