It’s time to update your PlayStation Portable system software (aka firmware). Firmware update 5.03 is now available. It’s another one of those mysterious and brief ones. At least as far as we can tell. You will need to download it to access the PSP’s PlayStation Store, so it is required.
The Sony PlayStation Blog made a brief note of it: “This is a small update that improves system software stability during use of some features.”
