Assassin’s Creed Bloodlines

Have you been waiting on getting a PSPgo? Sony Computer Entertainment America just started offering a deal, where you can select a full PSP game to download for free. If you purchase a PSPgo system between February 18, 2010 to March 21, 2010, you can pick either Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines or LittleBigPlanet PSP for free.

SCEA explains the free PSPgo game redemption deal:

- You must purchase a new PSPgo unit between Thursday, February 18, 2010 and Sunday, March 21, 2010.

To redeem code, you must create a PlayStation Network account or login to your existing account directly from your PSPgo system.
-
SCEA will then e-mail a code (using the email associated with one’s PSN account), which is good for one qualifying PlayStation Network account to download the game for the PSPgo system, via the PlayStation Store.
-
All in-game promotion codes must be redeemed by March 31, 2010.

Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines and LittleBigPlanet are fun to play on the PSPgo, and look great as well. I’ve played both games and if I had to pick, I would go for LittleBigPlanet. If you have Assassin’s Creed II on the PS3, you may want to go for Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines for the bonus PS3 to PSP connectivity features.

The PSPgo is available in Piano Black (here) or Pearl White (here) for $249.99.

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for the PlayStation Portable exclusive release of Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines. Watch the PSP trailer below. The PSP game continues the storyline following the original Assassin’s Creed. Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines will allow you to connect to the PLAYSTATION 3 version of Assassin’s Creed II for some bonus upgrades.

Here are the features as noted by Ubisoft:
- Dynamic Locomotion: Like the next-gen SKUs, Altair on the PSP reacts to the terrain fluidly, diving through holes and climbing ledges with only the creative application of the Free Run button.

- Tremendous Visuals: Altair and his environments are beautifully rendered to maximize the PSP’s visual capabilities.

- PS3 Connectivity: Collect Templar Coins and Treasures on the PSP, connect to your PS3, and share value across both SKUs. Additionally, as players unlock Health and Weapons upgrades in Assassin’s Creed 2 PS3, the same upgrade will be unlocked in Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines PSP.

Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines will be released later this year, exclusively for the Sony PlayStation Portable. A PSP-3000 Assassin’s Creed Entertainment Pack will be released as well.
