According to an article from GameInformer.com, the District 9 Blu-ray movie will include a playable demo of God of War III. The District 9 Blu-ray won’t be released until December 29, 2009, so it’s a bit of a longer wait for the God of War III demo than when the demo on the God of War Collection will be released. What’s different from the God of War Collection’s included demo is that the District 9 Blu-ray will include the God of War III demo on the disc itself, rather than having to download it. GameInformer.com also noted that a behind-the-scenes of the making of God of War 3 will also be viewable, once you complete the demo.
Of course, the hardcore fans will go for the God of War III demo download, using the redemption code included with the God of War Collection. Sony Computer Entertainment America announced that the God of War Collection, including higher definition PlayStation 3 versions of God of War and God of War II, will be available on November 17th. SCEA unveiled the Trophy list for the God of War Collection just yesterday, which you can see here. The God of War Collection is available for pre-order for $36.99 here at Amazon.com.

The downloadable Watchmen game (Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network) will be released on retail shelves soon. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced the details of the retail release for both the PLAYSTATION 3 and Xbox 360 games. The second episodic content of the downloadable Watchmen game will also be released at the same time that the Watchmen film is coming out on Blu-ray and DVD, in July 2009. If you own a PLAYSTATION 3, you can go for the all-in-one game and film package with the Watchmen: Director’s Cut Blu-ray.
Here are the details from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment:
"Watchmen: The End is Nigh The Complete Experience is an innovative, retail Blu-ray Hi-Def game and film hybrid which will include Watchmen: The End is Nigh Parts 1 and 2 and the Watchmen: Director’s Cut on Blu-ray. This new cut of the action-packed blockbuster includes an additional 25 minutes of footage not seen in theaters only available on Blu-ray and DVD. The two-disc collectible set will also feature exclusive artwork in a premium package. The game will be playable on the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system which can also play the Blu-ray disc of Watchmen: Director’s Cut.
Watchmen: The End is Nigh Parts 1 and 2 will now be available for the first time as a single game available for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.
Watchmen: The End is Nigh Part 2 will be available for download on Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and for PlayStation®Network."
