Wii gamers will soon be getting a lineup of controllers and accessories based on the upcoming fighting game from Capcom, Tatsunoko VS. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars. Capcom has given Mad Catz the licensing rights to produce the peripherals in North America.

"We are delighted with our partnership with Capcom, and we are excited to expand the relationship with this new license," said Darren Richardson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz. "As we have with our very successful Street Fighter(R) IV accessories, we look forward to bringing fighting games fans on the Wii platform a range of distinctive, high-quality accessories that enhance the game-playing experience of Tatsunoko VS. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars."

Does this mean a Tatsunoko VS. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars FightStick Tournament Edition controller is in the works for the Wii? Possibly, but we’ll know more details soon and bring you updates on it, most likely around the time of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and the release of Tatsunoko VS. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars on the Wii in January 2010.

The Dream Stick will be available on June 30th for $159, but you can save $30 with launch of today’s pre-orders at $129.99.

Features noted by Dream Arcades:
- Lighted X-box button
- Real Arcade controls
- 6 button Street Fighter layout
- Wireless to 35 feet or more
- Arcade style overlay
- Navigation buttons included
- Perfectly sized for laptop play
- Compatible with most headsets (with optional adaptor set)
- Requires two AA batteries (not included)

“Dream Arcades has finally given hardcore fighting game fans the ultimate fight stick that they’ve been looking for simply by eliminating the need for fighting players to have to compromise between corded Japanese style fight sticks and wireless game pads.”

Says Ryan M., Street Fighter fan and Tournament Player. “Dream Arcades Dream Stick is unquestionably a much finer arcade stick than others due to its sturdy construction, arcade authentic controls, and wireless functionality that features no noticeable lag.”

The Dream Stick™ is made to make it easy for hardcore gamers to modify the stick by customizing joysticks and buttons. The Dream Stick™ bridges the gap between the hardcore tournament market and the home gamers who just want a great stick to play with their friends.

“The Dream Stick™ is the perfect way for us to bring the arcade experience into the home, at a lower price point and a smaller footprint,” says Michael Ware, founder of Dream Arcades. “Nothing compares to a real arcade controller for playing arcade games and because there’s no wires it’s simple to use.”
