PlayStation 3 gamers in PAL regions will be getting the complete God of War Trilogy in one box set. The PlayStation.Blog Europe announced the God of War Collection, remastered PS3 versions of God of War and God of War II, will be released in April 2010. This is the same God of War Collection released in North America last year. It’s currently available for $29.99.
The God of War Trilogy bundles the remastered God of War Collection and last week’s new God of War III in one set, making it a great introduction for new PS3 gamers, or God of War collectors. It will be available for €89.99 or £64.99. Some PlayStation 3 PAL gamers may have already been able to pick up the Trilogy set in the God of War III Trilogy Collector’s Set, which included the extra God of War III downloadable content and Pandora’s Box collectible. Chances are that it may be tough to find, so the God of War Trilogy offers another bundled option.

Sony Computer Entertainment America has announced that God of War III will be available in North America on Tuesday, March 16, 2010. God of War III will be available in a standard edition (pre-order here) and God of War III Ultimate Edition (pre-order here).
See the final box art for God of War III here (both the regular and Ultimate Edition).
The PS3 High-Definition remastering of the original PS2 God of War and God of War II, the God of War: Collection, has had its price cut from $39.99 to $29.99. Now is a great time to get it at that price. The PS2 originals look great in HD and at 60 fps. Visual and lighting enhancements were done and Trophies have been included as well. Awesome deal to revisit the saga of Kratos before diving into God of War III.
The release date for God of War III in PAL regions is still to be confirmed. The PlayStation Blog Europe says Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) is aiming for the same release week as North America.

According to an article from GameInformer.com, the District 9 Blu-ray movie will include a playable demo of God of War III. The District 9 Blu-ray won’t be released until December 29, 2009, so it’s a bit of a longer wait for the God of War III demo than when the demo on the God of War Collection will be released. What’s different from the God of War Collection’s included demo is that the District 9 Blu-ray will include the God of War III demo on the disc itself, rather than having to download it. GameInformer.com also noted that a behind-the-scenes of the making of God of War 3 will also be viewable, once you complete the demo.
Of course, the hardcore fans will go for the God of War III demo download, using the redemption code included with the God of War Collection. Sony Computer Entertainment America announced that the God of War Collection, including higher definition PlayStation 3 versions of God of War and God of War II, will be available on November 17th. SCEA unveiled the Trophy list for the God of War Collection just yesterday, which you can see here. The God of War Collection is available for pre-order for $36.99 here at Amazon.com.
