Today Halo Legends is available on Blu-ray, DVD (single disc and two-disc edition). Halo Legends features eight animated shorts, each running about 10-17 minutes in length. There is also a wealth of information on the Halo franchise, with additional material available in the Halo Legends Blu-ray Edition and Two-Disc Special Edition DVD. Longtime fans of the series or those wanting to brush up on the Halo universe before the release of Halo Reach have a great resource with Halo Legends. The animation style and presentations vary, and they all make for enriching the Halo experience. The episodes in Halo Legends are done by creators of other excellent animated features including Ghost in the Shell, The Animatrix, Vampire Hunter D and more.
