Another PlayStation 3 Firmware update is now available for download. System Update 2.80 takes us a step from version 2.76. This is another one of those minor updates on the surface, since the install doesn’t tell you what is being upgraded or installed. The PlayStation Blog (here) does note the following on the update: “The playback quality of some PLAYSTATION 3 format software has been improved.”
