Dark Souls (PS3, Xbox 360)

Dark SoulsThe brutal difficulty of Dark Souls precedes its release, which I can vouch for after the pummeling I received at E3. As brutal as the game may be, Dark Souls is also beautiful. See today’s newest screens released from Dark Souls here on the official Dark Souls Facebook page, which Namco Bandai Games describes as “Black phantoms, coop fights and huge monsters.”

Dark Souls will be unleashed on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 4, 2011 (North America). Pre-order now to be upgraded to the Dark Souls Collector’s Edition at no additional cost.
