BioWare teaser image of next game

BioWare is teasing its next game, in advance of the reveal later in December 2010. The screenshot above, released by EA, shows a hint of what it is (click image above for a larger view). Another ultra brief hint comes from SPIKE, in its 2010 Video Game Awards trailer video. Watch the brief clip below (or here).

Hey, is that an M-29 Incisor rifle from Mass Effect 2? Mass Effect 3 is anticipated. Or could it be something else?  SPIKE’s VGAs will take place on Saturday, December 11th at 8PM ET / 5PM PT, so keep a lookout for the reveal of the next BioWare game then. Watch BioWare’s Twitter feed at @biofeed for more hints!

According to a rumor posted on IGN.com, Microsoft is working with Epic Games on creating a version of their hardcore third-person shooter for their new motion control device.  The rumor states at Spike TV’s video game awards show, Microsoft and Epic Games will unveil the title.  No one knows if this is a re-release with motion control through the Kinect device or a whole new adventure.  Other than that, there is no other information and Microsoft has responded with basically, no comment.

What do you all think, would you play a Gears of War game without a controller, standing in front of your TV.  Let us know in the comments.  I am sure willing to give it a try.
