Alan Wake’s American Nightmare (XBLA)
Remedy Entertainment is preparing to introduce a new, stand-alone game in the Alan Wake story via Xbox LIVE Arcade. Alan Wake’s American Nightmare will offer fans of the original suspense-horror game more fun as well as introduce the game to players who have been missing out on it.

Details from Remedy Entertainment:
Alan Wake’s American Nightmare is a stand-alone spin-off experience that anyone can pick up and play, even if they’ve never played the original Alan Wake before. It’s a combination of adrenaline-fueled arcade action and an exaggerated pulp action-adventure story. It’s instant fun for all gamers but also takes the Alan Wake story forward for the fans. In Alan Wake’s world, fiction can become real. Alan Wake is fighting against his evil double, Mr. Scratch, an urban legend come true. He is a supernatural serial killer on his way to Wake’s wife, Alice. Wake must stop him before that happens.”

Alan Wake’s American Nightmare is estimated for a Q1 2012 on the Xbox 360′s Xbox LIVE Arcade. Watch for updates on the official Alan Wake Facebook at www.facebook.com/alanwake and Twitter @Remedyalerts.

A World of Keflings - Alien DLC

An alien invasion is about to drop in A World of Keflings. Game developer NinjaBee has announced the ”It Came From Outer Space” downloadable content will be available from Xbox LIVE “in the coming weeks.” The exact date and price has not been announced. Get  your Xbox Avatar and Keflings ready for the new alien-themed kingdom, which will surely make for plenty of more enjoyment in the game.

“Aliens have crash-landed in the Kefling world and you and the Keflings need to use your mad building skills to get them home,” said Mike Nielsen, lead designer on the DLC. “You’ll be building giant robots, crazy alien structures, and even robotic Keflings all in the name of repairing their mother ship. There’s plenty of new stuff to explore – a new kingdom, new characters, new resources, new buildings… It’s pretty substantial.”

Sounds like fun! Keep a lookout for the ”It Came From Outer Space” downloadable content. And if you have yet to play A World of Keflings, now would be a great time to jump on it (read our review here). See more details at www.ninjabee.com.

Crimson Alliance (XBLA)

Game developers Certain Affinity have released a selection of new screenshots from their upcoming Xbox LIVE Arcade game, Crimson Alliance. See the new Crimson Alliance screens here, or further below. Previously released screenshots from Crimson Alliance can be seen here. Crimson Alliance will appeal to fans of fantasy action-RPGs like Diablo or Torchlight. From what I’ve seen on it so far, the action is solid, environments are gorgeous, and the loot aplenty! Read my impressions from Crimson Alliance at E3 2011 here.

See a trailer from Crimson Alliance here on YouTube. Visit the official website of Crimson Alliance at www.crimsonalliance.com for more details, including how you can get it for free in September 2011!
