Dead Rising 2: Case West DLC

Capcom has released a new addition to the Dead Rising 2 story with today’s release of Dead Rising 2: Case West on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Dead Rising 2: Case West is available here from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for 800 Microsoft Points ($10). If you missed the original Dead Rising’s Frank West, and taking photographs in-game, Dead Rising 2: Case West brings back the memorable character as players explore the Phenotrans Facility outside of Fortune City.

As a co-op team, Frank and Dead Rising 2′s Chuck have new arsenal of weapons and combos to create. Players can go at it in solo play as Chuck (so make sure to co-op for playing as Frank). Snap up evidence and survive zombie hordes in Dead Rising 2: Case West, available exclusively on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Just like the previously released Dead Rising 2: Case Zero, Dead Rising 2: Case West is a standalone game and does not require Dead Rising 2 to play. A demo is also available for download here.

Disney Interactive and Black Rock Studios have released an Xbox 360 demo for the destructive racing game, Split/Second. Xbox LIVE Gold members can now download the demo (about 808 MB) from Xbox LIVE. Queue up the Split Second demo to your Xbox 360 from this link on xbox.com.

What can you expect in the demo? You’ll hit the Airport Terminal track as an trial run of the game. It’s a single-player demo that will introduce you to the basics of the Power Bar and Power Plays as well as maneuvering through the danger filled tracks. As a stunt driver in a TV show setting, you’re also a demolition man, creating havoc on the tracks to gain the lead. By your third lap, the track will look like a flaming wasteland of debris and fire, so expect some intense action.

See the action in a video below from the demo, featuring some of the crazy Split Second Power Plays.

The demo will be available for the PlayStation 3 in the second week of May 2010. The retail release of Split/Second, for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, is May 18, 2010. For more details on Split/Second visit the official website at disney.go.com.
