Alien Hominid HD Coming to XBLA This Wednesday

This week’s Xbox Live Arcade Wednesdays title will be Alien Hominid HD. The 2-d scrolling hand-drawn action title will sell for 800 Microsoft Points ($10). Independent game developers The Behemoth bring the unique platformer to the Xbox 360. On Major Nelson’s podcast this week, developer John Baez announced that trophies will be mailed to top ranked gamers on the Alien Hominid HD Leaderboards. Features of Alien Hominid HD, from Microsoft:


- Full-blown console title: Alien Hominid is the first full-size console title on Xbox Live Arcade.


- New and improved: All 16 levels and seven mini-games are included in this version, in addition to 720p HD support and 150+ brand new PDA mini-game levels.


- Multiplayer support: Two players locally in the main game, and up to four players offline or on Xbox Live in mini-games.


- Per-player difficulty: Difficulty settings can be adjusted on a per-controller basis.
