Infinity Ward is working on an upcoming patch and multiplayer playlist update for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The multiplayer playlist updates will be coming separately from the patch update.

Here’s some of the things getting patched in COD4:

- Host Migration: If host leaves, players are sent back to lobby instead of getting kicked out of game.

- 18 player games require more bandwidth to host.

- Optimized server selection.

- Spectator Chase Cam gets updated to allow 1st/3rd person views and 360 degree rotation.

- Added Kill Cam to: air strike bombs, grenades, RPGs, M203 rounds, claymores, C4 packs and martyrdom.

- Added a minimum of 9 spawn locations on all maps.

- Optimized Sniper Rifles and ACOG scope accuracy.

No specific release date for the patch update has been announced. Read the full details on the patch and get all the details on the multiplayer playlist changes here.
