With Fall starting today, we can’t deny the success of summer for Microsoft and their Xbox LIVE Arcade games. The summer commenced with Microsoft’s "Summer of Arcade" which surpassed last year’s Xbox LIVE Arcade sales by nearly 200%. Three games alone in this year’s "Summer of Arcade" set the highest opening week sales ever on Xbox LIVE Arcade. Shadow Complex (winner of more than 20 Editor’s Choice and E3 Awards), Trials HD and Marvel vs. Capcom 2 were the record setting games for the XBLA market.
